Connect your PG&E Utility Account
Follow these steps to connect your PG&E utility account to Renew Home, the parent company of OhmConnect.
When demand on the energy grid is high, we reward you for saving energy during OhmHours and AutoOhm events. Renew Home, the parent company of OhmConnect partners with select utility providers, such as PG&E, who send us your energy usage via data from your smart meter.
Here is a guide that will walk you through the steps to connect your PG&E utility account:
1. Connect to PG&E here.
2. Login to your PG&E utility account (see image below)
3. Ensure that the correct address and account are populated (see image below). Note: If you have multiple homes, you will need to select the appropriate account by clicking on the blue triangle in the box 'Select all Service IDs for all Account'.
4. Click 'Submit' at the bottom right-hand corner. You may need to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the button. Once you click submit you'll be directed back to the OhmConnect site.
You're connected, now what! It can take up to two weeks for PG&E to confirm your enrollment and begin sharing your utility meter data with us. In the meantime, familiarize yourself with your OhmConnect dashboard, take a look around the Rewards Marketplace, or check out our Blog for energy-saving tips and tricks!
